At the Racial Equity Institute, we believe that meaningful racial equity work requires participation from people across communities, professions, institutions, and lived experiences.

We also recognize that those closest to the challenges created by systemic inequities are not always afforded equal access to the spaces where solutions are discussed.

Our scholarship initiative is one way we hope to reduce those barriers and make room for voices, experiences, and perspectives that are essential to advancing racial equity.

We encourage you to apply, even if you have never attended an REI workshop or participated in a racial equity conference before.

We look forward to learning from you and hope to welcome you to the Equity Paradox Conference!

Application Deadline: November 1, 2026
